Both were right there if you had any problems.

By the way, since our family of 8 ranged from my 91 year old mother to 25 year old kids, we stayed at Club Med and had all our meals together. Then with a rental car four of us would drive the 7 minutes to Long Bay for kiting each day. It worked out really well.

I would definitely recommend the paddle boards for the best views (SUP PROVO stands for Stand Up Paddle Providenciales), but the kayak worked very well also.

  Jay was awesome! Really took the time to teach me how to maintain control of the kite under strong wind conditions. I would highly recommend. Shout out to Jerry, too.

  Is it possible to give Kite Provo and Mark, my spirited instructor, 6 stars? Tripadvisor doesn’t make that possible, but Mark deserves it. If you’re looking to sharpen your skills,... read more or you’re a beginner, be sure to request Mark for anything related to kiteboarding. Mark made me more confident, and taught me basic skills to get up, and keep moving! He’s patient and personable. You would be remiss if you didn’t request him as your instructor. Don’t forget to kite with conscience.

Mark is not only a great kite-boarder and "natural" teacher, he is a great guy and genuinely enjoys watching you progress! Their process is unique. Because of the water depth, the instructor is out there with you. No shouting from the beach. AND, they can see your form up close to provide great immediate feedback. They are also able to demonstrate for you, right there. You could not design a better location to learn and progress : perfect winds; perfect depth; flat water. Tie that with great instructors, and you not only progress quickly, but have fun doing it!

Their directions to find their location were precise and made it super easy to get to the lesson. I would highly recommend Kite Provo...they were fantastic, taught them how to kiteboarding quickly and safely, while making them laugh and have fun throughout the lesson!

Much easier than traveling with my own board-... read more had a great windy day mowing the lawn and practicing some flat water tricks. I've kited several other islands and their setup is top notch, only thing that would have made it better would have been some waves!

  Not Worth the Money – Disappointing Family Experience  - We booked the mangrove kayak tour for our family of five (with three young children), and unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment and not worth the nearly $500 we spent.... read more />
While they did let our toddler ride for free (which we appreciated), the experience itself fell far below expectations. Our guide offered little to no information about the mangroves—aside from stating that they weren’t man-made, which was already obvious. There was barely any wildlife to see: just one turtle’s head from far away and one small fish that we had already seen daily on Grace Bay Beach.

Even though it was just our family and the guide, the whole tour felt rushed. We started late, ended early, and the guide seemed more interested in wrapping things up than engaging with us or the kids.

I had asked in advance if we needed to bring anything and was told the guide would have a small bag with water. That turned out to be untrue. We had left our kids’ water bottles in the car based on that response, and no water was provided—even when the kids asked for it.

Overall, it felt like a missed opportunity on every level: overpriced, uninformative, and poorly organized. Would not recommend this tour, especially for families with young children.
